Handmade hoop earrings in standard 20 gauge, hypoallergenic niobium. Formed into lotus petal shaped hoops then anodized to a rainbow of colors. 1 1/8" long and 7/8" wide.
Niobium is anodized by creating an electrical current through the piece in an electrolyte solution. Each color represents a different voltage. The blues are in the 20-35 volt range, while the teals and greens are 95-110 volts. It's a fascinating process!
